Day 5: Surte - Gothenburg

My dad dropped me off where I finished yesterday at 7:30AM and I limped off to Gothenburg as you can see here..

At 9AM I entered Quality Hotel Panorama to an amazing welcome by the staff there. Gøran had sponsored the stay and notified the peeps there about my situation, so they made sure to give me the warmest of welcomes with a little surprise as well!

So here's my day quickly summed chronologically:

• Breakfast

• Shower

• Nap

• Chill

• Leg massage (never really had a proper message, but damn that felt good! I totally see why the ladies speak so warmly about that stuff)

• Jacuzzi

• Sauna

• Stretching / workout

• Dinner and a few brewskies

• Board prepping

At the end of the day I also hooked up with Snorre and his buddies who are passing through to go kite surfing in Denmark.

Simply put: a perfect and much needed day! The road better be ready for this renewed hurricane.
