Aftermath: Svinesund - Munkedal

Today I decided to wait the rain out and didn't get started before 12PM after a sweeto breakfast. The whole day was actually pretty sweet longboard wise! Good asphalt, good temperature, wind in my back the entire day, partly sunny... Ahhh..! Except for the fact that my feet were totally destroyed from mowing down 115km in a pair of wet Converse yesterday. It actually hurts to the point where it feels a bit ridiculous.

Anyway, after about 45km I entered a restaurant in Tanumshede barefoot. The shoes were benched a few km earlier.

My feet feels like they've been in a blender for 3 days, but with the wind in my back and weather like this I can drink any kind of smoothie

Finally ready to crash after a foot crunching cruise

In Tanumshede I found a much needed buffet before I continued towards Munkedal. The trip to Munkedal was another ~50km and took the rest of that evening. Soooo once there I dragged my tired ass into a park, set up a tent and had myself a nice little dinner in the form of: 1 hard boiled egg I brought from breakfast, chocolate chip cookies, blueberry smoothie, banana and a cottage cheese (enjoyed without a spoon). It's about 10PM now and time to punch out for the day.
